Our Daily Bread Foundation’s Eat Better Today Summer Baking Program prepares youth for career opportunities in the food industry while teaching valuable lessons in kitchen safety and sanitation, health, nutrition, leadership, and team building.
With a focus on low-cost, healthy eating, this series of classes introduces new foods, and teaches participants about fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices, as well as kitchen safety and sanitation to prepare for students’ career success.
It’s free to join and participants earn a $50 stipend when they complete the program. Start building your savings while you learn to bake!
This program is designed for youth ages 13-15. Teens can participate in one of the following sessions (each session consists of three classes).
- June (Wednesdays): Meets on June 18 & 25 – REGISTER HERE
- June (Saturdays): Meets on June 21 & 28 – REGISTER HERE
- July (Wednesdays): Meets on July 2, 9 & 16 – Session Full
- July (Saturdays): Meets on July 5, 12 & 19 – Session Full
