Micah’s Bakery Program seeks to develop independent, resilient, and productive young adults as a path to entrepreneurship and employment in the culinary industry.
Through an 8-week hands-on job training and life skill development program, Micah’s Bakery Program will transform one life at a time through learning the art of baking and bread making. Our students will explore breads of different cultures and the impact bread can have on the unification of communities while building a healthy fulfilling life.
Micah’s Bakery Program will operate under the supervision and support of experienced professional instructors, partners, and mentors. Our students will receive training in an environment that encourages leadership, teamwork and community engagement.

WEEK 3 Pie Making / Motivational Speakers/ Mentors
WEEK 4 Cake Making and Design/Guest Chef
WEEK 5 Bread Making/ Cultural Influences/Economic Empowerment
WEEK 6 Job Training/Introduction to Entrepreneurship
WEEK 7 Practical (Baking Test and Oral Presentations)
WEEK 8 Final Test/Job Placement/Graduation
